Rules & Regulations

• In order to enter Miss Masque Newcomer you can only have been doing drag for less than three years
• You can not have had any current or previous titles other than a bar title
• You will be required to perform two numbers both of which must be solo numbers
• Your first number will be a warm up number it will not be considered part of the contest.  Tipping is allowed only during this number
• Your second number is your competing number.  Your score will be based from Masque Dollars.  No tipping will be allowed
• One Masque Dollar is given to every customer when they enter the club.  The more people you bring to cheer you on the more Masque Dollars you can receive
• Your dollars will be counted by an elected official directly after your second number. 

If you win Miss Masque Newcomer Pre-lim

• If you win you will then be required to perform a crowning number. 
• You will be given a cash prize of $50
• You are then required to return November 6 for finals night.
• Categories will be Evening Wear and Talent

Finals

• Finals night will be a judged contest.

If you win the Miss Masque Newcomer

• You will be given a crown and a cash prize of $250.  $100 of which will be given to you the night of your crowning the other $150 at the end of Miss Masque Finals night December 9th
• You will be required to perform a crowning number
• The remaining $250 will be rewarded to you when you return the following year to step down your title
• You will also receive a free entry into the December Miss Masque Pageant.  If you do not show to this event you will forfeit your title and remaining cash prize from Miss Masque Newcomer
